Following a workshop on 3–6 April 2007 at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, the Marxan Good Practices Handbook was created. The purpose of the workshop was to develop a good practices guide for Marxan and its “cousins” such as Marxan with Zones. It has been a two-phase project, with an initial “external review” version and a just-updated second version, available both as a PDF here and in interactive wiki format here.
