PacMARA Marxan Wiki Home Page

PacMARA seeks to develop and encourage the use of cross-disciplinary marine science in ecosystem-based decision-making. We take an impartial, non-advocacy approach, believing that access to data, good science, and clear results are at the heart of sustainable oceans management.

We have worked closely with The Ecology Centre at the University of Queensland, Australia and with Marxan users worldwide to develop these documents to support better understanding of use of the Marxan Software.

The official Marxan User Manual is presently available for download from our site and the Marxan Good Practices Handbook will soon also be available for download. This wiki is not the official version of these documents, but is an effort to facilitate the further improvement of both documents by the community of Marxan users.
