Every dollar you donate goes to increasing the effectiveness of ocean research, analysis, planning and management. As a registered charity in Canada, PacMARA will provide a tax receipt with every donation over $25.
At the Pacific Marine Analysis and Research Association (PacMARA) we believe good data and good science can lead to better decisions and ultimately to effective governance of our irreplaceable oceans.
PacMARA acts as a catalyst for collaborative research and analysis, marine policy development based on impartial evidence from the Pacific Ocean marine community. This includes business users, governments, environmental lobbyists and all the recreational users the ocean. Our goal at PacMARA is to link all people involved in ocean use and planning.
Our Goal is to ensure decisions are based on facts, and that any decisions made with respect to ocean use and marine planning factor in the impacts and benefits of the sustainability or our ocean economy, environment and communities.
